Appointments
At S.T.Stead we provide an efficient appointment system for all consulations, for both our private clients and Blue Cross clients.
Although the surgery is open all day, general consultations are only available at certain times throughout the week and you will need to phone reception to book the next available appointment.
Our consultation times are as follows:

Blue Cross Clients Only Notice:
Saturday evening surgery will be counted as an ‘Emergency Appointment’ and you will be charged an Out of Hours fee.

If your pet has a problem during surgery hours, please telephone the practice immediately to speak to a nurse or vet and if it is required we will be able to arrange an urgent same day appointment.
Home Visits
In certain circumstances, we are able to offer a Home visit. Please note, we are a small practice and only have one vet available to attend the home visit, so availability may be limited and there will be a charge for this service.
If you are unable to get your pet to the surgery yourself, there are local taxi services that may be able to bring your pet to the surgery on your behalf, If you are unable to find an alternative transport.
